FERTIMIX-Ca is formulated with Calcium complexed with organic acids (gluconic acid). Due to its composition, is capable of being absorbed by both the roots and leaves. The role of calcium in the plant is important, as it is involved in the growth of the roots, and proteins and carbohydrates transport, as well as providing consistency to the plants.
There are different physiological disorders related to calcium lacks. For instance, the Bitter-pit in apples, cracking in citrus and cherries, apical necrosis in tomato and pepper, tipburn in strawberry, black heart in beets, lettuce, etc…

Mixtures & Compatibilities
Do NOT mix with strong acid reaction products (sulfuric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric, acid, etc) as well as emulsifying products and products with alkaline reaction. Before preparing the final mixture, a compatibility test has to be done. In case of doubt, ask to the Technical Department.
