Fertimix B

FERTIMIX B plays a fundamental role in maintaining the integrity of the plasma membrane, as well as in the growth of the pollen tube, favoring the germination of pollen. In addition, FERTIMIX B promotes the metabolism of ascorbic acid, essential for root development and growth. FERTIMIX B promotes the fixation of N and is especially necessary in legumes. The application of FERTIMIX B in acidic, sandy soils and with a low content of organic matter helps to counteract the toxic effects of aluminum. The B can be mobile and stationary in the plant. It is mobile in species that use “polyols” as a primary photosynthetic metabolite (apple, pear, apricot, peach, almond, plum, celery, vine, loquat, olive and pomegranate). In most species, boron is immobile and translocates through the flow of perspiration: once it enters the leaf it remains there, accumulating in terminal parts of the leaf veins. Its concentration varies between areas of the leaf and between old and young leaves.

Foliar applications with FERTIMIX B easily avoid B deficiencies in species where B is mobile. For greater success in species for which B is immobile, apply FERTIMIX B taking care to wet the entire plant, especially young organs with low perspiration.

Mixtures & Compatibilities

Do NOT mix with strong acid reaction products, as well as emulsifying products zinc or manganese sulpahte and products of alkaline reaction. Before preparing the final mixture, a compatibility test has to be done. In case of doubt, ask to the Technical Department.
